Adult Acne
Okay. This is a weird one. It's not a commercial. Several months ago I started having some real problems with my face. Adult onset acne, I suppose. My nose in particular started developing tiny pimples for no reason, especially if I had done any sweating in the sunshine. It was becoming embarrassing, as a 50 year old shouldn't be having acne problems! I started using some benzoyl peroxide wash Mitchell left behind, and it worked for a week or so, and then it seemed it made it worse. I tried the other product with salicylic acid. It got worse. I did some internet research and decided to try eating Black Walnut Hulls capsules. No effect, but I felt healthier, I guess. I tried organic vegetable soap, Baby Magic wash (which did nothing but reminded me of my mother every time I used it, so that was nice), and Neutrogena face wash, Nivea with Q-10 or whatever...nothing was helping. I was ready to go to a dermatologist when I came across this soap (picture) called Purpose from Johnson & Johnson. I now use it in the a.m. and in the p.m. and I have no problems! The label says its soap free, non-comedogenic, oil free, won't sting eyes (says it's clinically shown to be gentle as water). So, there you go. If you are an adult getting zits, try this. If you just need a nice alternative to soap to clean off your makeup or whatever, it is pretty nice stuff. I found it at WalMart.
