I shot this in the yard this morning. I always called these critters "crab spiders" but I just did some research and found out this is not really a crab spider but actually a "Crablike Spiny Orb Weaver" (Gasteracantha cancriformis). Imagine that. How would it be if we named people in this descriptive way? What would your name be?

haha! That'd be awesome if we were named like that. Those crab spiders used to be the ones that scared me the most! I think someone told me they bite/pinch or something.
